Especially when it comes to high school and Junior colleges, kids often go through a steep increase in the academics. CoachingwithLaks understands how challenging it is to navigate this crucial phase while going through a lot of emotional changes.
Program ‘Manage Distraction and Excel Academically’ is designed to meet you at where you are and help you unlock your potential in just 6 sessions. Every program is carefully designed based on inputs gained from hundreds of teenagers and parents.
Are you distracted often, wanting to excel in studies but not seeing progress?
Do you think straight forward logical solutions like staying away from gadget or creating a schedule doesn’t work for you? Then, Manage Distraction and Excel Academically program is designed for you. This is mostly sought after by students in grade 10,11 and 12.
Manage Distraction and Excel Academically:
Module 1: Goal Setting and Holistic approach
Think Big and acquire the mindset required for learning. Frame your goals towards academic excellence and at the same time step back towards a holistic approach.
Module 2: Identify your distractors
Go beyond goals and explore various interconnected system in play to identify distractors. Develop self-awareness on what works for you.
Module 3: Time Management skills and Emotional Expressions
Acquire time management skills that matches your style. Develop the emotional intelligence that helps to stay connected to yourself and explore five facets of time management.
Module 4: Sharpen your study skills and focus
Explore the various study techniques, frameworks and tools to enhance your skills. Create a customised plan with the newly gained awareness.
Module 5: Resilience and Habit formation
Acquire Resilience and growth mindset towards a long-term vision of success. Identify the secret to sustain habits and buckle up with rituals. Close with reflection and key take aways.
This program is for you if:
1. You are willing to tap into your potential to do better in academics.
2. You are currently distracted and not seeing progress.
3. You want to take accountability for your actions.
This program is not for you if:
1. You are not willing to take accountability for your actions.
2. You are not in a position to get coached.
Program Benefits:
This course enables you to develop Accountability, Self-Awareness, Self-Control and Resilience. Empowers you with Time Management skills, Emotional Intelligence and Study Skills to navigate the complexities with strategies that works for you. And, this program exposes you to form habits towards academic excellence and leading a holistic life.
Course Expectations:
Thirty minutes of time commitment/week to complete take home activities.
Every module has a dependency on previous module and activity completion enhances your program experience and outcomes.
Course will end in 6 sessions irrespective of any incomplete activities.
Both Parent and Adolescent will be given feedback and feedforward inputs towards end of the session. Parent’s presence as a silent spectator is mandatory.
